    Accept relaunching without Udo

Here we go again. Accept is getting back together and replacing UDO with a new lead singer. WTF? They were way successful after they did that last time with 1988's Eat The Heat.

It really is pointless. It is not near the level of Iron Maiden hiring Blaze Bailey to replace Dickinson, but it still sucks. I hope they don't try and play a show with U.D.O. on the bill because they will get blown away.

What the fuck ever did end up happening to Udo? Is he still playing live?

Oh yeah, he and his band U.D.O. put an album out about every 1.5 years. His last one Mastercutor came out in late 2007 i think. They never come to the states. They just tour around Europe and also play the major festivals. They must do pretty well since he has been putting out records steady since 1988.

He was such a crusty little dude...such attitude. Stopped following him and Accept after 1986 or so, but good to hear he's still active. Don't much see the point of an Udo-less Accept, myself.

Why no, plenty of bands have replaced their classic original singer to go on to great new heights, like ah Van Ha...er no, ah Judas Pr... Deep Purr.. Iron Mai... Motley Crr... um Black Sabbath maybe? Well geez what are they doing? I guess they just want to go out and play.
AC/DC is the only one that has done it over the long haul but then no reunion with Bon is possible...
