If Van Halen released a boxset what should be in it?

What should be in a Van Halen boxset if there was one released?

1. I say remaster demos, unreleased tracks and covers from bars and club days.
2. Remaster CD and DVD of the US Festival 83
3. Maybe include the entire DVD of the Oakland concert in 81
4. DVD with clips of various concerts from DLR era
5. DVD of a concert from 07-08 tour.
6. Booklet of pictures from the band over the years
7 .maybe a T-shirt, stickers or baseball cap.

I can think of all sorts of CVH material I'd like in a Van Halen boxset.

Problem is, the boxset that would actually be released would probably be half Red Ched era stuff that I have no interest in. If that were the case, the CVH stuff that made it onto the boxset would have to be some pretty rare stuff that had been cleaned up very well in order to counter paying a boxset price when half of it would be Hagar stuff I wouldn't even bother with.

What should be in it? All of the restored unreleased live and studio masters that we've already downloaded illegally. Thrown in a book of unseen photos, a T-shirt, poster, a pack of condoms, rolling papers and a shot glass--then you'll have yourself a real fuckin =VH= boxset!

Dave Naked / future boxset

One naked picture of Dave would be good.

Hey, I have a pic of Dave in the buff - it was free with some crummy bootleg years ago. He looks better with his clothes on, I gotta say ... but I'm a guy, so what do I know?

What should they include in a boxset?? - a proper documentary film made by a reputable and savvy film-maker. But it'll never happen - they won;t talk to anyone, and while non-entities of the world and rock and roll are acclaimed VH fail to contemplate their own legend. It's sad.

Well, at this point I doubt they'd release anything post-Roth...Ed has a tendency to forget that he's ever had any other lead singers, but in this case, I suppose that's a good thing. I'm sure we'd all anticipate pro-shot, cleaned up classic-era DVD footage, unreleased tracks, photos, etc etc...all the goodies that usually go with a box set.

But based on the way they treated the remasters, I'd bet dollars to donuts that it'd just be a box set of the first six albums, this time "super duper remastered".

It'd be typical.
