Hi knowlegeable members.
Does anyone know if this is worth it?
I wanted to give it to my son-in-law for his birthday, he's always wanted an Ibanez and this is affordable for me right now.
Thanks in advance for your advice!!

It's definitely their lowball, bargain-basement entry-level model...uhm, guess the question is...do you like your son-in-law?

It would be a great starter guitar.

For cheap you could do much worser than this model. It'll do for a beginner taking lessons.

I'd probably go with a Squier of equal value and pay a little extra to have it set up properly...

I'm just not an I'd-been-had fan...

You can get one of those anywhere..I think I have one somewhere in pieces..

But yeah, 140 boo-yahs is right for a NEW one.

But I think you should get him a Universe...he won't "outgrow" that one. Then tell him he has to mow your lawn for a year....he'll DO IT, too! :D

You won't been had if you get a good one. The Universe is a good guitar.

The thread starter has addressed the "knowledgeable" members.

The next time he inquires for someone with a moist member in their gob, feel free to chime in...
