Has anybody bought the VH US Festival Concert DVD from Ebay?
How is the Quality?

As a matter of fact any of the other VH concerts on DVD(With Roth only no Spammy) that they are selling on Ebay.

The copy I have is so-so. The sound is excellent, but the video is bad.

I bought mine a few years back.

I saw Van Halen live at the US Festival 83 about 10 years ago on bootleg video which is one of VH's most classic live performances in front of 300, 000 fans showcasing them at their finest despite the personal & professional tension between Eddie & Dave!!!

I've got Sao Paolo '83 dvd but not the US Fest. It's got some cool shots, but overall the video and audio quality are both just so-so. Tried loaning it to another diehard but the fookin' thing wouldn't burn.

I recently bought the "20th Anniversary Edition" (hoisting Flag cover art) DVD of their US Festival performance. The sound and picture quality is "A" (not A+), but a good solid "A". By far the best quality I've seen over the years! I buy from e-Bayer Top Jimmy who also offers other high quality VH DVDs (ie. Rape Of The Vaults Vol. I & II in amazing "A" quality as well).

Got a Van Halen US Fest on DVD from Ebay and it was not bad. I say 95 percent of the DVD was OK and 5 percent of it had some picture problems. Heard that the VH Dover DVD is the best one with picture and sound quality, also heard the San Paulo ones is also good.

My copy has a distorted image along the bottom half when the camera is on alex. (what does that say about him) and probably due to the generation of the tape it originally came from, there is ocassionally some audio hiss.
