At the risk of sounding self-righteous, I have not heard the new "song" and I am going to avoid hearing it until Al-Queda has me trapped in an elevator threatening decapitation. Even then, it will be the Muzak version which I really can't believe will differ too much from the original.
We all knew this moment would come. The new song is finally available and all of the Hagaritas spoo as if they are 12 year old girls who finally figured out the finer points of proper tampon insertion. Yah..we're rocking now! This IS Van Halen! Let's indulge them in their futile attempts to figure out true music as well as the clasps on their "girlfriend's" training bra.
Dave is and always will be Van Halen. No matter how many broken down Dracula looking old men take the stage claiming to have the name Van Halen, that fact will not change. It is as true now as it was in '86. So, I'm going to throw on VH II, kick back, and have a cold one. I know Dave won't let us down.
