Is it tweeny season all ready? Apart from the imbecile behavior of the "stars" of this poorly acted and written crap I'm surprised no one from Summit Entertainment has sued CW over infringement issues. Maybe there just isn't a patent on vampires yet?

That's because they know they're on their way up to the big leagues...

And what's with the vampire trend, anyway?

Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

I want to see the naked shots.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

I often asked myself the same. And it's not really vampires, anyway. Just some gay, emo, washed-down, politically correct, cuddly version of proper vampires.

It's disgusting, really. Especially to a Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing fan like me.

            Cheers! :bottle:

              Nevermind a Bela Lugosi fan...

Weird thing is, I checked out a bookstore on my last visit to Helsinki, and the fiction shelf was full of Anne Rice books,
other vampire books, even lesbian-vampire related material. (Well, there were plenty of Michael Jackson bios as well, but that's moot.)

I must admit, I was tempted to buy the lesbian-vampire book...

Lesbian vampires??? It sounds both awesome & fucked up, no pun intended.

Have you - I always wanted to use this word - perused it? Was it any good?

Oh, and I mention C. Lee & P. Cushing over Lugosi 'cuz while Bela IS the definitive Dracula - gotta love his acting on that old movie, he more than made up for all the cheesy stuff, giant-rubber bats included - he only did one movie (that I know of, may be wrong), while Cushing & Lee did what? Thousands?

The Scars of Dracula, the Brides of Dracula, the Son of Dracula, Taste the Blood of Dracula, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, The Satanic Rites of Dracula, Dracula Rides Again, the Revenge of the Return of Dracula: Part 6, Dracula Vacations in Aruba, Dracula Teaches about AIDS, Scars of Dracula, Dracula Purchases a New Sports Car, etc...

                Top stuff.

                Cheers! :bottle:

My hand was reaching for it, but then I saw the description: "Dracula meets Bridget Jones's Diary". Instantly, my hand whipped itself away from it...
