Detroit-----85-74
Minnesota--83-76

Both teams have three games left to play.

Detroit is facing off a pissed of White Sox team, and Minnesota is facing off against Kansas City.

Tonight, Minnesota is blasting the Royals...8-0, while the Tigers are getting slammed by 8. It would put the Twins a game back, with two to play.

Tomorrow, KC throws out Grienke for his last start trying for a Cy Young...

It could get interesting...

looked like the Twins were dead to rights after dropping two straight to Detroit, but now the Tigers have to be really wishing they'd killed 'em off Thursday when they had the chance.

Give it to the Twins...

They win today...making sure that they'll at least be playing for a tie tomorrow...

They beat Grienke, who was awesome until the sixth inning...and are now a half game behind the Tigers...who are playing the white sox as we speak.

If they lose...we have a tie going into the last day of the season...

If they win...one game lead...one to play...

Either way...you gotta love it...

Instead of a playoff...they should do what they do with the little league world series...put an all-star team together of the best players off of both teams...

That would make things interesting...

The Minnetwoit Twigers...

Tigers don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Twins go on a streak and we fold, took Verlander to force the one game playoff in Twinkie Town, this blows, big time.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Tigers in the playoffs again, I'll be going to Game 3 if they do.

I have confidence in Porcello against Baker for Tuesday. It should be a fun game.

Seven game lead on September 7...doesn't make sense for a Leyland-led team to fold this late in the year...

what a sensational game tonight. Twins looked dead a couple times, then get the guy thrown out at the plate. finally win it in 12. they're going to have a hard time being ready for Game 1 on Weds.

but the day off Thurs should help the Twins a lot more than the Yanks.

Yeah, the game tonight was pretty awesome. Caught the last 5 innings.

Much as I hate to say it, the Twins played themselves into a loss tomorrow. Hopefully it's something they can overcome in game 2.
