Just got done listening to their new album for the first time.
First half of the album was good, but nothing really knocked me head in.
Then, suddenly, in track 7, the song began to beat the shit out of me.
It kept slapping me around, beating my ass, until all I could do was sit there in incoherent wonderment with a foaming mouth.
If you like Rammstein, go get this new album. Totally worth it. Cost me 10 dollars brand new.
THAT is a decent price for a CD. Certainly one like this.
Production was astonishing as always.
Oh, and promotional materials for the album are banned from being displayed publicly in Germany. I have to laugh, cause I can see why. There is a photo montage where the band is carving up some chick for dinner.
*ahem*
That said, there are some photos in the cd booklet that are right out of the Reubens catalog, and could easily be seen as oil paintings from the Renaissance-era. Whoever it was that did the art direction and photography for the cover and the booklet is a true artist.
Well, and the director of the video for "Pussy" is to be commended as well!
