I most probably have been brainwashed by brother in law and wife,
but my NFL and college teams are Dallas Cowboys and UT !!

For the first time in 5 years as the turkey tryptophan kicked in and made
all the americans in my family fall asleep on the couch, I saw a miracle,
the cowboys ended the saints run, then followed it up with another
win the following week...

I can waer my cowboys t-shirts now with pride....

I thank you all !!!

Last time I watched it live in the US was that fookin
fumbled field goal by Tony Romo (Is that the right spelling)
in the dying moments... (they had it won and fucked up bigtime)

They are now startin to take prisoners :)

The Cowboys really HAVE BEEN playing better, lately ... They didn't play very well when the Packers beat them 17-7 in the regular season, though ... I would very much like to see a re-match in the playoffs. How about you?

Its amazing how a bit of momentum can change the attitude
in any team.

Prob is, when Im back in Australia we dont get all matches, some dude
selects which ones we see. It is however via ESPN USA.

Favre has been throwing 1st to set the run up, in the last couple games. Not sure how you're "D" matches up with Rice, Harvin & Shaincoe? Then you throw in AP! If Favre comes out throwing lazers, which i think he will, they Cowboys will be in for a long day.

The thing is, for the past few weeks the Viking offensive line has not created the holes that Peterson needs to run through. As a result, he gets stuffed and Favre winds up using his arm to move the ball. This is when things get dicey. Granted, he's having his best year with only 7 interceptions thus far, but if Dallas' defense closes up the line with pressure and the safeties do their job, he'll be put into the situation of forcing things across the flat or in the middle. And that's where the trouble begins.

I've been watching the Cowboys the past few weeks, and I gotta say they are playing the best I've seen them play since Jimmy Johnson was coach! For the first time in many years I feel that they have more than a decent shot at the Super Bowl this year if they keep playing at the high level they're playing right now.
