Wow, this is an eye opener about what happens to retired/injured NFL players.

I didn't watch the Video but I know that the NFL pretty much chews up players then spits them out.
This leaves guys who are not rich superstars usually penniless and crippled. Like Rocky Blier for example

I always roll my eyes when people cry over the prima donna players in the NFL....

"They play football for a living, how dare they complain about their contract?"

or just implying that there is no loyalty by players to their team.

Wake up kids, the NFL does not have guaranteed contracts. Do you know what that means?

Any money they can get from a signing bonus is fair game. Anyone who rips a player for wanting to re-up their contract (in the NFL anyways) just doesn't get it.

That's not what that documentary was about, dude.

I know..but related, no?

If I hear one more person rant about how spoiled NFL players...

This is one part of how they earn each and every penny and are perhaps grossly underpaid for the risk they take

Totally dude.......

What really pisses me off is the Players Association. Fuckers have something like a billion dollars in a strike fund and these guys who are penniless and totally fucked up....they deny any form of monetary help. Truly disgusting.
