    A thousand bucks? Shit.

Most I'd do for that kind of money would be teaching someone how to tie shoelaces.

Everyone has a price, but it's astounding how low the price of most people is.

    Cheers! :bottle:

i would drink fuel from here...

Officials of Virent Energy Systems, Madison, and Shell Oil Co. say they've reached an important milestone in their effort to produce a new type of biogasoline.

A demonstration plant in Madison, 100 times the size of the technology used to develop the product in the laboratory, began operating in November and has shown that the system works on a much larger scale, officials told a conference call with reporters on Tuesday.

Virent is using sugars from a variety of crops, including sugar beets and corn, to make fuel that is chemically comparable to gasoline, with the same type of technology found in a standard oil refinery, Virent founder Randy Cortright said.

"Instead of using crude oil, we are using sugar water," he said.

                Virent has 80 employees.
