Strong quake kills 2 in Mexico, rattles US states - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/lt_baja_earthquake)

so we're over at a friend's house for easter dinner, hangin' out in the back yard, whe
n one of the women asks why the pool is "doin' that". the water was swayin' back and forth from end to end and movin' about a foot up and down. somebody says, there musta been an earthquake. we giggle, snicker, etc. hour later the guy on the radio announces this earthquake in cali. first time i've ever seen anything like that, kinda cool.

kinda cool.

GRATS!

Glad you popped your quake cherry.

I saw video of swimming pools on the news just swishing all over. Pools are sensitive things...easy to crack. I'll bet a lot of people are going to see some hairlines surface this summer from this quake we just had. Which is good. With the current recession, pool guys have really been hurting. First thing people cut when tightening their budgets.

Congratulations. I too popped me quake cherry recently & it was awesome.

Here's what I had to say about it:

When it ends AND you see that it didn't cause a massive catastrophe, you retroactively start to enjoy the feeling of moving with the Earth...

But it is kinda weird all this shit in so little time.

It's like the Earth is scratching itself.

Cheers! :bottle:
