New Guitar Day - Orange Nehi Buck-O-Caster

Dear Roth Army,
Those that know me, know that I have a soft spot in my heart for Telecasters.
I also have a soft spot in my crotch for flexible hispanic women, but that is another thread.
Here is a Liberace Syle, over the top, Orange Nehi Sparkle Caster.
It was made by Steve Dikkers.
He is a builder at The Telecaster Disscusion Page.

Guys, it's awesome. I like everything about it.
The DonMare pickups sound really full and the guitar is probably the most versatile one that I own. When you pick it up, it feels like a solid guitar.

That's 14 ounces of UV-cured polyester resin I could live without, myself.

Notice the heel where the neck joint gives away that it's not truly neck-thru construction? Yeah, something else I don't need.

That is cool. I don't like the gold hardware though. I don't like sunburst or neck through on a tele.

Don't get me wrong - I admire it for such a phenomenal build I was just brief. That's one hell of a selection, absolutely.

It's a great addition to your stable, it's very different and I bet it sounds different than most of the others.

My first tele, I built when I was a teenager and paintedpainting it 74 Pinto Orange, so an orange tele has sentimental contrast to me. I don't dislike it, but I do feel ambivalent again about my own loss it has nothing to do with this axe. It looks like a great one and a great addition to your stock.
