Mercyful Fate, King Diamond never did it for me, and Im a hardcore metal head.

Manowar is one of the few bands that play HEAVY METAL. No thrash, no grindcore, just strictly real heavy metal. And they do a damn good job doing it. Saw them in 1996 and they put on a hell of a show.
