Phil can be a very intelligent man, and I've always found his lyrics to be thought-provoking.

He blows hot and cold in interviews, however: sometimes you feel less intelligent after have read a veritable cocktail of expletives. But when he has a point to make, he is remarkably eloquent.

I always think he's going to struggle with addicition in some form, however.

Agree. But I've only made it through the first two parts of this and I'm already glad I don't do heroin...

Personally I have no reason to listen to anything he has to say. He is a fucking jackass.

I saw his shitty Superjoint Ritual band once. He's up there all, "For this next song, anyone who isn't standing up is a fucking pussy!" So I'm like, ugghhh, OK, I'll stand up because I didn't want to look like a pussy :(

Wow...you certainly can tell he misses Pantera, eh? Hard to believe he's my age. I wonder how the kids in the audience perceive him? I always dug on what Pantera were laying down from a musical standpoint...was never that huge on Phil's delivery.
He fucked up huge on a lot of levels, and he has to carry all of that around for the rest of his days.
Thanks for the post, DJ

Just got a bootleg DVD compilation of live Pantera stuff from 1992 to 2000.

Pantera was a shit-hot band that might still be around if he hadn't been such a fucking junkie loser bitch!

Quite true HR. His drug use cuntpletely destroyed Pantera. It's a burden he'll have to live with for the rest of his days...
