"This Day in CVH/DLR History" Calendar

Just a short note letting everyone know that I finally found some time to make the "This Day in CVH/DLR History" calendar as accurate as possible.... After going through all of the 1974-1984 and 2007-2008 references I list below, I'm 100% certain, this is the most accurate CVH tour listing on the Internet tubes....

The calendar lists all shows of the CVH era and the first two Roth solo tours, plus pertinent dates of the real Van Halen.... You will find no Hagarita nor Cherone dates.... The '78 and '79 tour dates were the hardest to confirm, and there is no way to confirm if it's now 100% accurate, but it's fucking close... The tours in the '80's were much easier, most of the websites had the majority of the dates...

I used the following reference materials:

    - Have to give Brett at the Links credit, I got this idea from him, although he hasn't found time to finish his

    - Van Halen Encyclopedia (numerous errors)

    - Black Sabbath tour dates (for the '78 tour) - http://www.black-sabbath.com/tourdates/1978/index.html

    - Various Van Halen Wikipedia entries (numerous errors)

    - JamToThis VH tour listing (most accurate, other than mine ) - http://www.jamtothis.com/archive/index.php/t-2047.html

    - Rocknvideos' VH tour dates - http://www.rocknvideos.com/vhtourdates.html

    - Van Halen Ticket Stubs - http://www.lookatstubs.com/bands/van_halen.htm

    - CVH Tour History Stubs (often the best reference) (mine is in there for May 20, 1984) - http://tommyv.fortunecity.com/

    - JamToThis DLR Skyscraper Tour Dates - http://www.jamtothis.com/showthread.php?t=2513

    - Good 'ol Google searches (you'd be amazed how many articles about an old Van Halen show you will find)

If you find some time, take a close look at the dates... Look at the early days when they would play very small clubs to the '84 tour when they would not only play sold-out arenas, but play them for multiple days.... See the tours when VH would go from arena to arena with very few off days in between.....

Anyway, as always, if anyone sees any corrections that need made or would like an addition to be made, feel free to PM me... It's been a pain in the butt-ocks to do this, but it was a pleasure...

Awesome job... But I don't see your list? Is there a link somewhere?
Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.

It's in the calendar on the top...

Also, on the main page, at the bottom you'll see under "Today's Events" the daily entry for the calendar... There are VH entries probably 340 out of the 365 days....
