I was just watching the black sabbath bio on biography channel and they had Eddie telling the story about losing Ozzy when they toured with them.

They talk about vanhalen touring with sabbath and how warner bros practically abandoned sabbath for vanhalen. A few pics of vanhalen in there too.

Its the same story Dave tells in crazy from the heat, no mention of dave being the 1 Ozzy was snorting coke with for 4 days.

Ed looked healthy.

Next airing is tonight or friday morning at 1 am central, 7/16

Its a pretty good show.

yeah I never did get to see sabbath with ozzy, but did see ozzy it seems a hundred times thru the 80s-90s and it was always a pretty neat show.

first time I ever seen ozzy was in an auditorium it must been 120 degrees in there, I was fucking smoked on hash, acid and a lemon 714 lude.

Mr Randy rhodes was playing the fiddle.

I think rainbow and pat travers were the opening acts.

Entwistle was far better than Geezer B IMO Ruprecht.

That was a great show.

Ever notice how all the Sabbath bios completely skate past Technical Ecstasy?

But no show before this ever showed Iommi's tips after his accident.

At least not the behind the music documentary.

How they managed an album a year with all the touring, abuse, and legal shit is beyond me but it all took its toll. But their worst albums don't sound phoned in, like chickenpoot for example.
