Exactly. It reminds when that gold commentator woman & her co-host were talking about how rough it would be for Tiger with the others going after him & she off-the-cuff remarked lynching. Had nothing to do with his color or the fact that black people were hung in the past. It was just a saying talking about an angry mob. But got blown way out of proportion.

People are so damned touchy these days.

As for cotton pickin'. Just imagine if Rush Limbaugh said that. LOL. The shitstorm would be enormous.

Rick Sanchez is a certifiable nitwit, and an embodiment of uninformed and clueless pretty boy newscasters everywhere. For those unfamiliar with his "work", Sanchez was the same dim bulb that thought it newsworthy to report on live television that the National Guard were using blanks while attempting to control looting in the aftermath of hurricane Andrew here in August of 1992. Not only did this little "announcement" deter the efforts of the Guardsmen, it effectively put their lives in danger by pointing out that they were going out unarmed against the gangs doing the looting. The man is too stupid to have an original idea in his skull, let alone a racist one.

Brian I don't think we are really on the same page here. Like you I used to do quizzes but then we moved onto tests. Then it was exams and then degrees and the postgraduate degrees.

What's the relevance anyway, are you saying the reason you are racist is because you are uneducated?

I have observed that the posts about public figures whose vocations are affairs of state are similar to groupies speaking about publicly profiled musicians.

Most people are on available in cyberspace, if not the person then a persons on their staff, instead of speculation or worse fawning. Why not drop a line to the person and invite whoever to the dialogue.
