VAN HALEN:Necroposting Boosts Buttfucking Catalogue Sales

According to Undercover News, five of VAN HALEN's albums earned an extra platinum award in May — possibly as a result of an increased interest in the band following the announcement of the group's upcoming reunion tour. Albums that are said to have benefited from the renewed interest in the group include "5150", "OU812", "Van Halen II", "Balance" and "The Best of Van Halen Volume 1".

VAN HALEN have sold 34 million albums with singer David Lee Roth, 16 million with Sammy Hagar and less than a million with Gary Cherone.

"The Best of..." album has sold three million and the live album, "Right Here Right Now", has sold two million copies in the U.S.

In total, the VAN HALEN catalogue has now turned over more than 55 million units in the U.S. alone.

I smell record company/Lying Dutchmen/Spammy bullshit in those figures. If anything sales of Classic Van Halen would have risen as a result of this tour since it is Classic Van Halen they're using to plug this piece of shit sham of a tour. How can Balance and OU812 have had a sales boost from Unchained playing 10 times a day on the radio?

mmmmm I dunno.... there's a lot of yuppies that have forgotten about Van Hagar, and when VH re-emerged for a concert date, they bought the tickets, realized that they should buy some CDs, and purchased VHagar CDs. But I also wouldn't discount your theory either.
