Cato is Japanese. Japan became a world economic power by selling high quality goods for a fair price. The Chinese have become a world economic power by using their cheap labor to produce Wal-Mart grade shit ultra cheap. Big difference.

Why buy a Harley Davidson or Triumph when the Honda was more reliable and more advanced? Sony replaced RCA and Zenith because they offered a more advanced television for a competative price. China was built on US companies outsourcing production there and you buy an American brand name and it's made in China. Japan competed with their own brands. Name one Chinese brand that means quality. Good lucking finding one.

This video cracks me up. My nephew is making big money in China but there are no women (one child policy inspired parents to kill the girls and keep the boys), you can't breath (horrible pollution), the cars suck, but the beer and noodles are good.

In the 1960s and 70s people said the exact same about Japan that you are now saying about China. Back then Jap cars were rust buckets and you bought Ford for quality. By the end of the 70s that all started to change and who's to say the same won't happen with China. Plus Japan is 80 million on a small island with no resources, China and India are going to be taking over. Meanwhile they look on totally puzzled while we piss away anything we had left in pointless shitholes like Afghanistan.

I bought 6 strip light capacitors a couple of weeks ago for my garage on Ebay from the cheapest supplier for about $14 with free postage.

They arrived a few days later and when I checked the package they had come by air direct from China.

They can do that and still turn a profit...
