    Comedian Greg Giraldo has died. Details on Greg Giraldo's death.


    Greg had been hospitalized in New Brunswick, NJ after he overdosed on prescription pills last weekend. His rep said the overdose was not a suicide attempt.

    Giraldo was best known for his celebrity roast appearances. He had also been a judge on "Last Comic Standing."

    A source close to Greg tells us, "Greg passed away today at the hospital in New Brunswick as a result of an accidental overdose. His family was by his side."

    We're told plans are being made for a public memorial service.

          Very sad and tragic. Giraldo was fucking hilarious on the roasts.

          Best line from the David Hasselhoff roast..."Hasselhoff...you drunk fuck! Your liver is so shriveled, black, and dead that if someone puts their ear near your stomach all they hear is "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

              Fucking brutal! But that's the way Giraldo would have wanted it. He would have dished it out the same way if it was another "roast comic" who died.

                              I wonder if this was another Heath Ledger type of situation where he just combined the wrong pills?

                              Sad in either case, but even more so if the guy followed the instructions from his pharmacist and died anyway.
