sesh is right. you know that the day bush left office, the deficit for that year was $1.2 trillion, right? you know that since mccain would NOT have proposed a balanced budget that year, that mccain would've hit $13 trillion almost as fast...within a couple of months, right?

look, the issue is not whether republicans are bad and democrats good. both sides are culpable. but anybody who seeks to blame just one party is ignoring reality. and believe me, the REAL problem is that too many people, including those in power, are ignoring reality.

Bush didn't run up a $3 Trillion dollar debt in just two years. The current Democrats have spent way more money than even the Bush neo-cons did in eight and that is saying something. To be fair, the spendaholism started with Johnson and Nixon took us off the gold standard so we could spend more. So both parties are to blame and yeah both will suck the tit dry.

My main question is what happens when nobody wants Dollars, Yen, Euros, or Pounds anymore because they all are worthless paper money and nobody can pay China for the loans? China just printed a bunch of paper junk and loaned it to other worthless countries so they could keep the illusion going. It seems to be the country with the most slave labor is the winner in the modern world.

Yeah but I felt that way for years but nobody any better replaces the former losers. In fact it's just gotten worse and worse and now the government is gunning for our asses more than ever before, the economy, the currency, and the debt situation are to levels nobody knows how they will be solved. Time magazine even said a civil war is not out of the picture due to all the problems.

The most we can hope for right now is to get enough people in the US House of Representatives to cut off the funding for Obamacare and hopefully keep Cap and Trade and Amnesty from being passed. Then get rid of Obama in 2012 but then what do we replace him with? So far it looks like Mitt Romney, Newt Gengrich, Sarah Palin, and Hillary Clinton might be candidates so far. Not much to choose from there.
