wrestlers: Ken Chertow, Jim Sherr, Mike Moran, Cael Sanderson, Dan Gabel, Bruce Baumgartner, Rulon Gardner, Kurt Angle....

Athletic Actors: Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Batista, John Cena, The Undertaker, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, etc, etc, etc....

(perhaps which is why they work for a group called WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) because it is just that.....entertainment.)

Kurt Angle went from legit to WWE (then TNA), Entertainment pays better :)

that it does....(meaning that it pays, period)...

that doesn't make it wrestling, though.
it is what it is....correographed acting

Ultimately, so what? No one here is saying it isn't anything more than entertainment, and the fact is the only people that believe televised wrestling such as WWE to be real happen to be the very young and the very dim. It's hardly something to take a stand about.

So obviously you alone can make the distinction between what is real and what isn't. Thanks for being such a beacon of light for the rest of us. :baaa:

It would be scary as hell to be in the prison showers with him.

The shit is scripted. It's simply entertainment. There is no doubt these guys are athletes, but it is simply entertainment !
This thread is about the interviews. They're entertainment in themselves. Let's stay on topic, shall we!
(And yes, the people who believe it's real are dipshits!)

A lot of wrestlers who were good in the ring couldn't talk worth a damn and thus never went anywhere. Speaking more of old school wrestling, if you couldn't give an interview and get people fired up to come out to the arena there was no point. The interviews were pretty much paid advertisements.
Here is my list of old school wrestlers who could give a hell of an interview:

1. Ric Flair
2. Jerry Lawler
3. Austin Idol
4. Bob Armstrong
5. Eddie Gilbert
6. Mr. Wrestling II
7. Tommy Rich
8. Ole Anderson
9. Gino Hernandez
10. Larry Zybsko

The best part of the interview process was when someone got attacked at the announcer's desk like the time Tommy Rich came out with a broken leg and got his crutches kicked out from under him.
