You know something's wrong when wrning agrees...

You just have to wonder though...if having Ward be the spokesman is the smartest go here...

but this surprised me...

Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs took the unusual stance of agreeing with the rival Steelers during a conference call with Pittsburgh reporters.

"The league has their favorites," Suggs said Wednesday. "One being in Indy [Manning] and one being with that team up north [Brady]. Besides those two, everybody is fair game. Like I always said, [the Bengals'] Carson Palmer got his knee hurt in 2005, but there was no rule made. Then Tom Brady got hit in the knee and all of a sudden there is rule and possible suspensions, excessive fines. It's just getting ridiculous."

The NFL is absurdly inconsistent. Look at the fight the other day. Both players were swinging away, without helmets on. Neither was suspended, so what happens the next time such a thing happens? Most bizarrely, the NFL did not want to effect Houston's performance in an upcoming game on Thursday. WHAT? I thought that was the reason players were suspended, to make everyone suffer, thus decreasing the likelihood such an event will take place again.

Oh, and coincidentally, that next game is to be broadcast by the NFL Network, which just happens to be owned by the league. Does this smell funny to anyone else around here?

It is a crock of shit. I'm a huge Peyton fan but he is protected and don't get me started on Brady, from the tuck rule to low hits on a QB, he may as well have a vagina and play in the lingerie football league. I agree players need to be protected to an extent, but don't completely alter the game. Players know the risks going in.

Who should get suspended more?

He's fuckin right

of course he is....

and "absurdly inconsistent" is a NICE way of putting it.....

I said when this whole bunch of crap started that whether a person was fined or not, suspended or not, could easily depend on whether or not Goodall got some the night before.....
or if his secretary called in sick that AM.....

absurdly inconsistent....:bottle:

I do but not everyone gets the NFL Channel. Not sure though if the NFL has any say in that matter so I can't blame them. But, it would be in their best interest obviously if everyone had that channel.

I catch your drift and what you're getting at but you can't blame the player (Brady) for rule changes especially the tuck rule.

Yeah, the NFL is run by fags, no argument here, just tired of the QBs being treated like they play by another set of rules. Plus, Brady is trying to look like his old lady lately, makes me wonder.................
