vegetable trees? The food is free except you have to pay for the land and the farmer? I'm in the ag business and she doesn't have a clue. LOL! Agriculture is overhead intensive and as the government encroaches the more expensive it becomes unless of course you are getting paid by the government not to grow anything or get subsidies to grow corn to make ethanol out of so you can fuck up peoples engines.. She is right on the fact that people should have the freedom to work and produce for themselves.

California's best chance of fixing their economy was Prop 19 (legalizing weed) and they fucked it up. At least they didn't elect Meg Witless or Carly FCINOrina to make shit worse.

This chick sounds like she might have smoked a gram or so before she testified at this hearing.

California not too long ago had the 7th Largest gross national product in the world. It's amazing how bad government and crooked politicians can ruin such a powerhouse and how fast it can happen. In the end, it's the public's fault because you can vote the bastards out but then someone decent has to run and decent, qualified people don't want the job. Con artists and ego maniacs tend to want to be in politics.

Well, despite the failure of the weed legalization initiative, it is still by FAR the largest cash crop in the state.

They didn't fuck it up. Many who voted down Prop 19 were growers themselves in that this Bill would would have allowed for mega-like growers become the Wal-Mart of the legalized sell thus putting smaller ones out of business. Plus, it would also be the mega-growers who get to dictate what type and potency of weed that will be sold and regulate the tax base. It was a sucker's Bill from the start.

Pot is easy to grow. If people could grow it legally out in the open, it's value would plummet to nothing.
