I'd want to announce my return.

Keeping in my Rock in Roll myth, I recently departed (Umm, yea, again) with the ticket stamped Sinus (nose, not heart) event and altered state.

The doctor signed report will be completed soon. But it appears that I went into shock due to an unknown reason.
I was given a adrenalin shot and prayer commenced.
I keep a DNR on my records.

My time spent in the "altered state" was short; 24 hours I think, maybe more, maybe less.

I am getting used to it. One day, I will go in and not come back, but until that time. I am here.

Please take time to share this season's close.

Welcome to The Diamond David Lee Roth Army!

Hi Blaze and welcome to The Diamond David Lee Roth Army! We are a website created by fans of David Lee Roth for fans of David Lee Roth. IT’S THAT DAMN SIMPLE. The next beer is on us!
"I decided to name my new band DLR because when you say David Lee Roth people think of an individual, but when you say DLR you think of a band. Its just like when you say Edward Van Halen, people think of an individual, but when you say Van Halen, you think of…David Lee Roth, baby!"!

Awe thanks Jimi! That's one good looking cock you have there.

I am still weak. The fat fuzzy bud's might have helped me recover quicker.

It is too much fun not to spin this.......

It seems I went into a brief coma because my protein level fell.

You know.... if I didn't bang on God's door so often this wouldn't be funny.

In a nutshell, my blood pressure fell dangerously low, my blood count fell dangerously low, and I was touch and go for a few days.

              It was interesting.

Wow! It must of been a shocking experience for you, Blaze...............

While I sympathize with your plight, I can't really empathize with it, though. What you call an "altered state" is really what most of us feel everyday. It's called reality and an unaltered (read zero Meds) state of mind.......

you had a moment of clarity, if you will

Well, KK, in a way you are correct. One of the things I have noticed about the euphemism called an altered state in medicine is the raw moment of clarity that transcends time.

However, I did not know your days consist of your going to the doctor because it hurts to breathe; then being wheeled into ICU having the personal strip you while saying , this won’t take long, help us out stay with us, while another set of personnel is placing those damn sticky things with wires all over your torso. You come to realize you are on a gurney with both arms stretched out while nurses seem to be randomly poking your both arms. One exclaims, "I can't find a vein."

You begin to feel bad, so you say to the nurse having the most trouble, "I wish I could help you." Amid the chaos you look down realizing that, she has 2 taps in one arm. One tap is just dangling and she has almost her full weight on the other tap in the crook of your arm twisting it while turning to say something to someone; then she reaches back and injects something into the tap in the crook of your arm and with not a moment of gentleness. At that moment you are saying “I don’t feel that, I should be more responsive than this" and you drift back into that altered state that excites the staff so; they call you, you come back for them; they call you, you come back...Then it is quite.

You wake or become aware. You can hear them talking about you. You wonder how you can hear them. It is quite again. You become aware and realize you have a lot of wires and tubes attached to your body. It is too complicated to complain, you return to sleep where it is quite and nothingness engulfs you. You open your eyes and there is a nurse, she is talking but you do not hear, you do see she has a bed ban. “Oh No” you think. You pray she does not attempt to make you move. You know, you will be expected to pee. You pray. You return to the comfort of the nothingness.

Your eyes shoot open again. The bed now feels like it has roots attaching to you. It feels so gross and painful. Your legs are excruciating. You must move more than just a turn accompanied by a moan. You sit up. You think of trying to do this earlier when the nurse was trying to make you get up and you could not. Why could not you, you not sure. You are not sure what has happened. You see a bedside lavatory. That is important, the nurses have been very clear that it is important that you pee. Well, you do have the urge, seems like a good goal.

You get back to bed and the nurse comes with what is called dinner. She tells you that you are on a clear liquid diet. You begin to think perhaps that you are sick. It is too rich you cannot eat it. You go back to sleep. It seems like maybe it is nighttime, a nurse asks why you did not eat, and you say it was too rich. She says they used bullions and that she will get you the broth off a bowl. She brings you a cup, it is creamy. You are thankful. You almost finish it, but it is too much food. And so you go off to sleep again. Perhaps this was one whole day of yours. It could have been longer, and a few things were missed.

If this is what most of you, or rather you Kwame because I do not think you speak for most people, feel every day I can sympathize and empathize at least for a stint of such an experience.

Moreover, your snipe of no medications is really just odious.

Considering your use of medical marijuana for stress, that was a way beyond a polite joke or an impolite joke.
