High percentage, with here and there some little corrections for the version as we here in this video.

I don't know.... the middle "opera" part sounded a lot like they were playing over the original Queen backing track. But then that's what the surviving members of Queen have done themselves, so I guess it's not that surprising.

About as much as Van Halen in '07 and '08...

i thought it was pretty good....and thought that most was real....mostly because Pink does not seem to have quite the range that the origional (which I prefer) calls for....

I was all set to post a bunch of negative shit about Pink sucking and not fucking with a classic.

Then I watched the video.

My initial thoughts were wrong. Great fucking job.

It was much better than I expected but I'm not sure it should be legal.

It's funny how in this version it still sounds like 'sparing his wife from his pork sausages' at 3:30

There I've cursed you all to always hear that from now on... :)

Well, that sounds like Freddie, actually....

Spare all the wives from "pork sausages" so there's more for him.

Which didn't work out all that well for him, unfortunately. :(

Some of her clothing decisions seem to be a bit impracticable. She could catch a chill.

When I first saw the video of her doing "Dear Mr. President" live with all those images on the big screen behind her...... It was so sad it almost made me tear up in a good way. I'm not ashamed to admit that. I've posted that video on this site before a couple of years ago so its here somewhere.

"Family Portrait" is another good one about her parents divorce. I remember when she first released "There You Go" a friend of mine told me she was just another disposable Britney Spears clone. I told him he was wrong. A decade later and I've been vindicated. Chic is talented. I'm glad she's expanded her sound cause the stuff she's done since is catchy as hell. Don't even try to say you haven't heard "Just Like A Pill", "Don't Let Me Get me", or "So What" and not caught yourself singing along.

Personally, I think she did a damn good job. I'm no ghost whisperer but I'm sure Freddie approves.

Ponder this for a sec.... Imagine pitching a song idea that combines a touch of classical, hard rock, and opera then enduring the reaction. You'd be laughed at and on the surface justifiably so. But then you hear it and well........ Its an automatic eargasm. I can't believe an idea that seems so ridiculous could sound so cool. Hands down it earns my vote for most creative and unique rock song ever composed.

Saw her live a couple years ago at a music festival. She's actually got some pipes. Watched for about 20 minutes, decided I needed more beer and a piss, left. The end.

I think that was Freddie's outfit actually. Looks just like the yellow jacket he wore at the Wembley 1985 show that's on DVD. Odds are she probably only wore it for that song.

I was just kidding...dave had the yellow jacket and the hat on the last tour, too...but it's for sure meant to be freddie's stuff from 1986 (not 1985 if you don't mind me correctin you). I've seen that tour and it was absolutely outstanding!

ok, just spoke to greggy. ladies and gentlemen, that was ALL LIVE. she has a 9 piece band with 2 keyboardists playing 5 keyboards, violinist, 2 guitars, everybody sings. she was very anti pre recorded stuff, because at that time there was a huge backlash against britney et al with all THEIR piped in bullshit. so there you have it! yep, i was shocked, too. :)

yes crowbar, i'd give her one! but apparently the motorbike dude was hanging around as well.

I don't like her songs but she is better than the 95% of the pop artists of today. Some even call Kanye West "a genius" and cuntpare him to John Lennon! Fookin' hell. In that case I am ready to cuntpare Pink to Freddie Mercury. Cun't watch the vid now, people are sleeping in this apartment.

She has nice tits btw.
