Hi,
I'm new to this community.
I'm looking for this show. I was actually the one who taped it, I loaned out the master to someone to do a transfer to CD and never got it back. I'm hoping someone here has a copy. I know it's not the best sounding show given the primative gear I used 20+ years ago but I would still like to have it back in my collection.

I learned early on never to let my tapes out of my sight.

In 1979 I had a dozen tapes of concerts I had recorded from 1976 to 1978 in a plastic US Army first-aid box in my car. Someone broke into my car while I was in a theater watching a movie and stole the tapes. Hard lesson to learn. I have never since let my bootleg masters out of my house.

I lost the following:

ZZ Top Nov. 4, 1976 Wichita, KS with Sound Check and opening act Fools
Kiss Jan. 13, 1977 Wichita, KS with Sound Check and opening act Uriah Heep
Doobie Bros. May 1, 1977 Wichita, KS with opening act Foreigner
Foghat July, 1978 Seattle, WA (did not tape opener)
Boston Sept. 15, 1978 with opening act Sammy Hagar (tape was a great quality recording, and even the presence of Spamulus Flatulus on one of the tapes was not such a bad thing, as that was back in the days when he was still a rocker, and not a lame pop-rock tequila-salesman).

That said, you might contact this guy cause he has the show on his CDR trade list. Dude has a massive list of VH boots as well:

I hate to remind you, but it wasn't your Ferrari. It was loaned to you by Robin Masters, and it would have been nice if you'd taken the trouble to have it washed once in a while. Also, is it really all that difficult to drive on the pavement once in a while?
