Heh....I am sure it was the same sorta thing as when Jeff Beck rang up Pete Townsend and asked "Do you fancy going to the cinema?", and the whole point of them sort of hanging out that day was that there was a new guy in town that made them look like dogshit, and his name was Jimi Hendrix.

As pointed out above.....applications at burger joints hit an all time high. Pawnshops everywhere were wondering why all these guys were coming in and offering to sell there gear for cheap.....

I just remember going back to my house just south of Tacoma and getting my guitar out and plugging it in, and trying to do that weird tapping shit I saw him do, and failing miserably.....
