Well first off, there was probably two different people involved with this clip. The person holding the 8mm camera and some other person on the other side of the arena doing an audio recording of the concert. Plus, since they finally have decent video-editing software out nowadays, they probably found each other online and said: "Hey, I happened to have filmed this concert also. Do you have the audio recording? I want to sync the two together." In addition, personal video cameras were fucking huge back then, so it would have been impossible to record the concert without getting that mammoth-sized equipment damaged.
