Freddie Mercury/Michael Jackson collaborations being readied for possible release.

Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury are two musical icons who left the world far too soon. The “King of Pop” and the eccentric leader of Queen, one of Britain’s most acclaimed bands, collaborated several times in the midst of their chart-topping ascents in the ’80s.

And though they were not officially released as songs featuring the twosome together, what they did do was lay the blueprint for what became Jackson’s smash with Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger, “State of Shock.” But today 411 Mania reports that “Shock” and other unfinished songs may be dropping soon.

Queens drummer Roger Taylor was recently quoted saying, “We are now working on some never-before-released songs that Freddie made with Michael in the early 80′s. I’m not allowed to say too much about it but they sound incredible!” As a fan of both, I’d love to hear what the two were cooking up almost 30 years ago. But without them to okay the finished products, it might be better either being released as they are or not at all.”

Jackson’s reps have not yet responded to inquiries asking whether and when the songs will be released. What do you guys think of the forthcoming songs? Should they be let out of the vault? In what form? Anxious to hear them? Let us know.

Here's the original "State of Shock". It's clear that Mick Jagger tried to copy Freddie's parts as closely as he could........

I still don't get all this postmortem Michael Jackson worship (video games, movies, etc..) He's a fucking weirdo and his music wasn't that good.
On the other hand, I really wish Freddie was still with us... If he were still alive, everyone would have gotten over that whole homo hang-up and Queen would have been huge in the States all over again... probably doing huge stadium tours like the Stones.

I don't think Freddie would have lived that much....even without his disease...

The Man was drinking 2 galoons of vodka per day + beers + smoking 2 packs of cigs everyday and sniffing more coke than Scarface!!

Even Lemmy can't take that rock and roll diet.....
