Randy Savage, aka Spider-Man's Bonesaw McGraw Dies In Tragic Accident.
Former WWF wrestler, Macho Man Randy Savage, who played Bonesaw McGraw in 2002's Spider-Man, has been killed in a tragic accident. Read the details here...
Here is an excerpt from TMZ's report. The full details on the accident are currently unknown, but it's believed that he may have suffered from a heart attack at the wheel. While his role in the movie was fairly small, I'm sure you'll agree that he did a fantastic job, and join me in wishing his family all the best at this obviously difficult time.

Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and "collided head-on with a tree."

Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.

According to officials, Randy and Lynn were both wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Cops say alcohol was NOT a factor.

Was thinking about the Macho Man last weekend when they started playing 'Pomp And Circumstance' at my daughter's commencement ceremony.
Sad news.

Another piece of the magical 80's gone forever. He was one of the more animated & fun characters to watch. Rest in peace Macho Man. I'll tip my next Slim Jim in honor of you.

Oddly enough, I remember his Slim Jim commercials more than his wrestling, but I was never that big of a WWF/WWE fan. Still, it's sad to see so many of these guys go at a relatively young age. :(

Favourite all time Wrestling personality. Hogan couldn't come close to Savages interviews. After the Savage/Hogan/Piper era, wrestling became even more foolish and silly.
Back in the old days these guy would bleed to entertain. Since then, its become acrobatics show of shaved juice monkeys...

R.I.P. Macho Man....

My first memories of Randy are from Memphis wrestling against the likes of the King, Bill Dundee and Austin Idol.
Randy actually came out with a music cd back in the late 90's. Actually it was more like rap than singing, but the main song was called, "Be A Man Hulk," where he was basically expressing his dislike for Hogan. We will never forget you Randy Poffo. R.I.P.

The one thing that stands out in my mind about Macho Man Savage was back in the 1980s he had a chick named Elizabeth (I think) who used to accompany him to the ring for every match...and that she was very hot...and I often rubbed one out to her...

RIP Randy.

I had the pleasure to meet Randy before one of the events in Portland back around 88 or 89, I guess. He came out a did an autograph session, just a fabulous guy, fantastic character and a great ring performer. He's one of the products of a now sadly bygone era when wrestling was obviously staged but actually ENTERTAINING. Savage was one of the rare breed who could drag you in, keep you riveted and sell you a story just as easily as you please. I'd been pissed off for a lot of years that Savage wasn't invited back to the WWF after the WCW folded and obviously Vince had a stick up his ass about something. No doubt he'll do his "good deed" to honor him by inducting him into the hall of fame, but far too little far too late. With as much as Savage did for that company in the late 80s and early 90s, he deserved to see his induction.

So, yet another reason to stick a middle finger high in the air at "Fuckface" Vince McMahon.

Dig it, bitches. Oooh yeah.

Savage always gets kudos for his WMIII match with Steamboat... but if you can find it... he had a cage mach with Bruno Sammartino that I saw on one of those WWF VHS compilation tapes back in the day that was brutal... Savage was bleeding like a motherfucker.
