I don't think Lennon took himself as seriously as a lot of people who followed him.

I suppose next we'll hear that Lennon was supposedly working on an album made up of songs reflecting his alleged "new right wing ideology" shortly before he was assassinated.

Maybe the songs had titles like "Give War a Chance", or "Power to the Corporations", or "Woman is the White Christian Man of the World"? Or a remake of "Happiness is a Warm Gun", with the new lyrics actually about guns?

And if you believe any of this shit, I've got a beachfront condo in Tucson for sale.

The good part is, I get to see part of that brought to fruition by watching the "real" Republicans duke it out with the Teabagger douchebags about who's ideology is actually "correct".
