    What the fuck Wendy's!

Why do people and corporations, etc... not listen to the golden rule of : "If it's not broke don't fix it?"

Wendy's had the best french fries around (at least of the fast food joints) and now they've incorporated "sea salt" on/in their fries and I don't like it. I don't like it at all!

    Fuck!

It's a tie between Clown Food fries and Wendy's Hot and Juicy fries for me, but the sea salt tips the scale in McVomits favor.

Lose the sea salt and blow me, Wendy!

Burger King ate Wendy's hot and juicey and Ronald McDonald watched and cried.

It's cheaper for Wendy's if they don't have to peel the potatoes.

Many years ago...maybe 12-15?...Jack In The Box suddenly changed their fries. The old ones were greasy and not the greatest, but still kinda good. I hate the new ones. The seasoned curly fries are good though. But I go to Jacks hardly at all since they changed their fries.

I remember when I was a kid how good McDonald's fries were...they were like crack cocaine they were so addictively good, then somewhere along the line they changed them somehow and they haven't been worth a shit since. Come to find out, it was the oil they fry them in that they changed. They used to use beef tallow and now they use vegetable oil. Dairy Queen fries used to be damn good, too, and now they're inedible...not sure what the fuck they did to their fries. Burger King fries are awful as well. Come to think of it, I can't really think of a fast food chain that has good fries, anymore.

And the reason they've changed the oil is simply (no not cheaper only), now they get money for the used oil, (in Holland about €15,= p/200 ltr)

And you know what they do with this used 'oil'?????

Stupid consumers get what they deserve. I'm amazed at how much corner cutting and quality busting goes on but yet the places are still busy full of customers. It isn't the provider's fault it's the consumer's fault for buying the shit.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had fast food. After the teenage years, Burker King et al really lost their appeal for me - the food always tastes flat.

Absolutely. However, for those who'd like to recreate the "fast food fries" experience at home, try the following. (I've pointed this out in the past to folks, and it has never ceased to amaze them.) Simply buy a bag of the cheapest frozen fries you can find at the supermarket. Shortly before you drop them in the deep fryer, pan full of oil or place them on a sheet to bake them, roll them in sugar until they are well coated. After cooking them to package instructions, you'll be astounded as to how closely they taste to the...err, real thing.
