Holy Shit. Whitfield was 39, and he was the star of the first season of Spartacus...as Spartacus. After he was diagnosed wit non-hodgkin Lymphoma, they decided to do a prequel of the series. He went into remission, and began filming season 3. After I think, 2 episodes, the cancer returned.

They continued filming with a new lookalike actor...

Wow...too damn young.

Make them fucking count...
