Here in he UK it all is supoosed to take place in the middle of the night. i think there is a seven-hour time lag. So 10pm ET will be 5am Dec 1st here. I will go to bed, and get up and check for news in the morning, without having to endure all that other stuff. Go to work for a few hours, come home and crack a beer or three if the news is good.

Yeah - that's my guess. The Roxy thing, whatever it is, could be the source of a 'live' link. Probably too risky to turn up in person in case they really can't hold it together in such situations - remember MTV 1996 ...
