Good luck wit that one. About the only thing you can do is heat the plastic with a hi-watt blow dryer, then place it in a vice with some flat metal or wood on both sides of the plastic. As it cools, the guard might return to it's original shape, but it is highly unlikely. Once heated, the properties of plastic change, expanding and in essence losing it's form. Fixing it back to it's original shape is more or less like attempting to un-ring a bell.

If blow dryer does not work, get a damp towel and an iron. Put pickguard on flat surface like countertop. Damp towel on top of pickguard. Apply downward pressure with iron. Of course, you don't want to set the iron temperature too hot. And periodically re-dampen the towel.

I have no idea if it will work on plastic, but that is how you take dings out of gunstocks made of wood. Something to try, anyway.

Leave it as it is. Call it art. It's got sort of a Salvador Dali vibe going. My sister in law just put in new wood floors. She actually paid more for the wood that had mineral streaks and flaws. A wood grader would call it shit but a cleaver marketing person will sell the asthetics of it as a premium product. So they buy the crappy grade lumber for the inexpensive shit price and then turn around and sell it as a premium product and create a huge profit margin. The key is to get a popular celebrity to use it and they hype that fact.

I say leave it alone, that pick guard could be worth a lot of money if the right illusion is created. It's not a defect, it's art and it's precious. Now you have to convince everyone else that this is the reality.
