How I remember The True Van Halen

From the US Festival when they came out for their second encore..
Ed is front stage, Mike to his right
Dave comes out to the side of the drum kit than Howls...followed by his trade mark high kick! Not to be outdone by his trade mark jump off the drum kit! WOW

There's no one or group out there that can compete!!!!

Another one would be the Okland show with those kicks & jumps & the 1984 stage show with the year flashing along with Alex!

Or flash 20 years forward to an over weight singer, a guitar player that forgets the songs and the ones he remembers he can't even play right, a lead singer that needs physical therapy after waving at the crowd, and a half filled auditorium.....

I remember Eddies impish smile and addictive guitar licks mixed with Daves sex appeal and and animal howls. Was there anyone else in the band?

I remember smoke and lights and BOOM! Dave came leaping 20 feet in the air doing the split kicks and BAM ! We were rocking for the rest of the show like no one has ever rocked the Cow Palace in San Franciso before or after. The year was 1984. The best and last time I ever got to see true Van Halen. They are sorely missed...
