Hello,

Another newbie here, predictably jumping aboard the Roth bandwagon at a time when things look about as great as conceivably possible in the world of DLR and VH.

Been lurking for many years, but figured it was time to jump aboard for the ride.

Discovered VH and Roth simultaneously in 1986. The only time I ever saw either of them live was in 1988 on Roth's Skyscraper tour (his only appearance on stage in Australia to date). VH came 10 years later with Cherone. I didn't see them, I was out of the country anyway.

Look forward to getting to know you all a lot better.

Later ;)

Thanks DB. Actually I never really got into Crue. They always seemed to me like Van Halen without the variety, swing, groove, chops, humor, song-writing skill and talent.

Well that's tricky, as I like various styles. As for hard rockin' good times:

Halen (Roth era)
DC (Bon era)
Metallica (Cliff era)
Maiden (80's)
Zeppelin (I, II, II, IV and Houses)
Queen (73-80 - 05-91)
Floyd
Beatles
King Crimson
Frank Zappa
