Best James Bond Theme Song That Never Was...

Check it out... I heard this song today on Pandora and was freaking blown away. The video, not so much. But who cares!

I think "Live and let die" is easily the best ever...

Great choice. I also liked "A View To A Kill" by Duran Duran a lot. If I recall correctly it was voted best ever by some Bond fan poll.

And the Quantum of Solace song above is funny as shit.

It was a competition between 2 radio djs to do the best theme, very funny radio when they played them to Roger Moore.

            Here's the other one.

I can't believe how many fuckstump retards have posted comments on YouTube saying that these are 'fake'.

Reading the comments on YouTube is enough to make you lose all hope for humanity. After sixty seconds I am usually filled with mind-numbing despair, afraid to leave the house, lest I drive and walk among these imbeciles. Most of the comments are written by the dumbest people who have ever walked the Earth (and drooled on a keyboard). They are prime examples of what happens when dads get their alcoholic daughters pregnant.

I also liked the U2 song "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me"...but my all time fave is "Live And Let Die". And I am still pissed off (after all these years) that Runs n Goses decided to butcher it.

There have been some iconic songs for the Bond films.

My top picks would be John Barry's theme from "On Her Majesty's secret service", "Live & Let Die", Carly Simon's "Nobody does it better" & Rita Coolidge "All time high".

A lot of the later ones passed me by, maybe only the Chris Cornell song from "Casino Royale" making any impression at all.

Which actually counts as "a Bond-theme that never was"...

                      Since it's from "Batman Forever"...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Live & Let Die and A View To A Kill are the best - but I've always been partial to Lulu's 'The Man With The Golden Gun.' Oddly enough, Alice Cooper has always maintained that his version of the song was the original pick - but was dropped at the last minute by the producers in favor of Lulu. It can be found on his album Muscle of Love.

Though U2 actually did write a Bond theme. "GoldenEye". They let Tina Turner sing it, because Irish guys shouldn't be singing theme songs for British secret agents.

Even agents being played by an Irishman?

Anyone remember"Goldfinger" sung by Shirley Bassey?

To me, that's one of the most memorable Bond intro songs.
