        Wow! Great find indeed!

Kinda makes you wonder how much the items would cost in today's dollars......

Dang. That is pure awesome. Such a major event in music history that was unknown until right now. Wow....just wow.

I bought a nice MADE IN CANADA hard shell case for my bass and I paid $80 for it. Cases cost more in 1969. If you adjust for inflation, I think we pay less for equipment now than they did then. Electronics are sure a hell of a lot cheaper. You can get a good guitar for less too. Of course a top of the line USA made guitar will cost you. Maybe that was the Les Paul Jr. Ed played.

All I can say is Jan and Eugena's investment paid off. That was a lot of money in those days.

It's like I'm looking at the Magna Carta or something. Little did anyone know at the time, but this piece of paper changed the world.

Holy crap that's cool as hell! Where was this found?

That was definitely a major chunk of change back then...

18% APR. Shit, I hope Jan paid that off quick! This is cool. Love stuff like this. The kind of stuff that will end up in a thick book some day, that is, if it's done while actual books are still being made.

Pretty nice neighborhood there in Pasadena....wonder if the current occupants know they are living in a house where Van Halen grew up?

The Van Halen home on Las Lunas was for sale a while back. Someone posted the reality pictures. It had just been remodeled on the inside and the kitchen updated. It seems like a nice neighborhood now and probably was nicer when Ed and Al grew up there.

Yeah I saw the interest rate and went ouch! Oh well. At least the gasoline, education, and healthcare was cheap in those days.

                            I don't think a Les Paul Junior cost $400 in 1969.....................
