I disagree, I think Roker's stated his case pretty clearly....

The guy's probably gotta get up at 4am to do the Today show in New York after landing in NYC late the previous night, and as he said, he wanted to get some sleep....

I don't think that Roker's the bad guy because of the poor planning by the VH camp.....

Pissed off that Howard was joking about the 'cancellation' of the Van Halen tour and that the band "hates each other and are fighting constantly"... really wish I could have gotten through to set him straight.
For a dude that was willing to pony up 1 million dollars to have the band reunite and play on his movie soundtrack, you would think he would be a bit more up to date on what has really been going on with the band... I bet he hasn't heard anything beyond 'Tattoo' from the new CD.
I guess all he cares about is his America's Got Talent gig and his boyfriend in Train.
