It Ain't Van Halen...Shirt Reactions

I was wearing my It Ain't Van Halen Without David Lee Roth shirt as I was walking into a Chinese restaurant the other night, when a guy stopped me. "Amen, brother," he said and walked away. It took a moment for me to realize what he was talking about and then he turned around and said, "The shirt."

Has anyone else had reactions in public when wearing the shirt?

I've gotten thumbs up from several people, and a comment from a guy at my sons T-Ball game, who was pretty passionate in his hate for Van Hagar. My family and friends kinda rolled their eyes and laughed, cuz they know what a diehard I am. It's definitely a shirt everyone notices........

Yeah bro. I was waiting to pay for my two dollar a gallon gas
one day and was kinda unnerved by what seemed to be a guy
fully staring at me. Not taking too kindly to that sort of thing,
I was about to ask if there was some kind of problem. He walks
over and goes, "your shirt made my day man, I couldn't agree
more". He was apparently on a road trip with the wife and more
than a couple o' kids. I told him where he could get one, and
had a brief discussion about the dynamics of classic VH while
his wife just simmered. I have no doubt it made his day.

Dude...I've gotta get mine. I've got one with the new logo and I get stopped all over the place and people tell me how much they wanted a Dave reunion. Once I say I'm a Dave fan I get an AMEN.
