It's That Time Of Year....When Demons Appear......

    Why?

Because people obviously listened to the instructions on this amazing vinyl album recorded in 1969 where Vincent Price gives complete instructions on casting spells, creating love potions, summoning demons, etc.

He also gives complete instructions on making a pact with the Devil.

All you Christians out there should get this and try this shit out. Come on....add some excitement to your spiritual existance!

It is called "Witchcraft & Magic - Adventures In Demonology", and is a real hoot to listen to. A lot of it is pretty cheezy....but some of it is creepier than any movie he was ever in, lol.

and here is a lengthy blurb about the record itself:

When I was young we went on a trip to Hawaii. My older sister & I were coming back to the hotel room from the pool. Got in the lobby elevator going up & Vincent Price was in our elevator. We were scared shitless.

        LMAO!

I am reading a biography of him right now written by his daughter.

He was in reality an extremely kind man with a fantastic sense of humor. And even though he was recognized mainly for his horror films, only 25% of the films he was in were horror movies.

If you ever wondered where Iron Maiden got the idea for the album cover of Dance Of Death from, check out a Vincent Price movie called The Masque Of The Red Death.

He plays some Lord or other local nobility asshole who keeps the villagers in line by extreme cruelty....towards the end of the film he hosts some big costume bash at his castle.

The IM album cover is right out of that scene.

Cool man. And of course that's him on 'thriller' and 'number of the beast'.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

Actually that was not Vincent Price doing the intro to "Number Of The Beast". They wanted him badly, but for whatever reason he declined to do it, so they got someone else.

That is him on Thriller though.

I choked up when I saw Edward Scissorhands for the first time. Vincent Price had died only 3 years after filming was complete. I did not see the movie until after his death. Knowing it was his final film appearance, when Edward Scissorhands discovers Vincent Prices's character dead on the floor of his laboratory, it was very sad for me. How fitting. It was like his death scene for his entire career.
