Homer Simpson winning a Grammy pretty much sums up this 'award' for me.

I consider it a relief that ADKOT isn't on the above list. Now I can, with absolute certainty, completely ignore this shit show.

The simple fact that I have not been capable of removing ADKOT from within two feet of my CD player for nearly a year now should give VH all of the validation they need, and it doesn't come from a committee of shitheads. Rather, it comes from a lowly paid municipal employee who drove to 4 different Walmarts in order to purchase the damned thing with the T-shirt included.

Well, I do want Iron Maiden to win a Grammy.

But christ, the motherfucking Academy are a bunch of ignorant cocksuckers.

In addition to ADKOT, there should have been nominations for Black Country Communion.

                  Mumford and Sons?

                  Coldplay?

I had mentioned a while back that I admired his approach towards the "music business". Like the music or not, he definitely had the smarts to create an image/gimmick that worked.

As far as that solo tune goes, sounds a bit too much like a Sublime riff. Does nothing for me.

                        :

                        Indeed justice would be served.

Going back to when ADKOT came out & was topped by Adele....I gotta say, those Adele songs are pretty damn good. She has quite the unique voice and I think those tunes will be around for a long time, unlike most the crap at the grammys.

                        Call Me Maybe?
                        Gangnam Style?

                        Dafuq?

Most the songs there are like the Macarena 2012. They will be distant memories by next year when the new trendy catchy songs hit. Happens every year.

I think we should send Carly Rae Jespen to a weekend with WARF. That'll learn her.

Damn, I've been out of the new music loop too long. Never heard of Mumford and Sons (what kind of name is that?). And the only thing I know about Jack White is that I saw him on American Pickers.

Ah, I ain't missing nothing. Back to my bootlegs...
American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

I don't know jack shit about Mumford and Sons either, but I do know that every time I hear that name, I think of Eddie Murphy's shirt in Beverly Hills Cop.

If the band had actually bothered to promote the damn record it might have been nominated. There's a difference between being ignored and not demanding attention.

I hope that Maiden or Anthrax win something; suspect that the Black Keys will do very well.....
