According to the Boston Globe, legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen surprised guests at the Ritz-Carlton on Avery Street in Boston the other night by playing a few jazz standards on the piano. In town to perform at Worcester Centrum Centre, he played the grand piano in the hotel's lounge, paused to smoke a butt outside, then played some more.

VAN HALEN's next live appearance is scheduled to take place Wednesday night (June 23) at the Continental Arena in East Rutherford, NJ.

Sorry if this has been posted already.

Scotty is referring to an interview with Spermy Gaybar that details the conversations he had with Ray. Spermy says Ray did a poor job with Rush and also spoke unflatteringly about the band behind its back while acting as Manager. Spermy thinks Rush should have been much bigger had a different Manager been running the show (as do a lot of people)... FYI
