Nice surprise indeed!!!!
I thought I'd never hear of him again..
Fantastic song. The guy's the shit. Eternal respect.
I'm really looking forward to listening to the album.
BTW, is this Bjork in the video?

I have no idea. Video is fucking weird. But that is what David is all about.

I have the 2002 album Heathen. Has some great songs on it.

In general I am not a huge fan, but I heard some songs off that album and bought it.

And of course, most of his stuff from the 70s is great.

I liked it.

Hilarious Bowie from a very underrated show:

Is the word 'genius' genuinely appropriate with Bowie?

Some musicians actually transcend music.......

I hope he tours again. I haven't seen too many shows that were as good as his A Reality Tour. Earl Slick and that other guy together were just dropping it all night. It was sooooooo good. Hearing a song like Station to Station for the first time, live, was just incredible.

I think Reeves Gabrels is playing with the Cure now...

Yes he is. I have friends here who know him, as he lives here.

Picked up the deluxe version of The Next Day this morning...$13 at Tar-jay (only because they open at 8 am and I don't have to drive all the way to Best Buy...)

On my second spin through, and louder this time. It's really good. Where Are We Now? is the slowest/quietest/mellowest(?) thing on it. Some good guitar work, Earl Slick is on some of it.

Bowie isn't doing interviews, producer Tony Visconti has become Bowie's "public voice" for now. No plans to tour, either.

Listening to the album right now, sounds like Vintage mid or late 70s Bowie to me. It would be a damn shame if he never toured again, but maybe the heart attack scared him off?

Sounds like some good music .. however, the star of that video has been on my internet stalking hot babe list since I saw her in, Constantine.

This could easily be Bowie's biggest album ever...

Bowie Trivia:

Bowie has never had a #1 album in the US...

I think its a great record. As for the touring i thought i read recently his wife Iman kind of let it slip that she wouldnt be joining him on tour because of school for their kid.So who the fuck knows ...hope so.

I read that during recording, some of the band said "how are we going to pull this off live?" and Bowie replied "we aren't."

Might as well use the series of tubes known as the internets:
