I like his movies and like how he thinks outside of the box; especially, when choosing his soundtrack music. He was on Howard Stern and it became apparent he was not the average cookie cutter person.Last edited by Nitro Express; 02-17-2013, 08:42 PM.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

It's very silly and completely breaks the laws of physics the way some people fly 10 feet backwards when shot.Comment

That is the point. He is paying homage to the over-the-top attitude of all the great B movies that were around back in the 60s and 70s.
And of course, you have to be able to appreciate black humor. When I saw Django Unchained, I was laughing hysterically in some places.....and I was the only one in the theater doing so.Comment

i laughed at Tarantino's Ozzie accent lol the kkk stuff was funny as well.
I had read about its running time but thought it ticked over because it kept me interested.
I thought waltz was good in it but I thought dicaprio stole it he was great .fuck your fucking framingComment

Yeah the DiCaprio dinner scene is stunning, apparently he cut his hand for real.
Why even make them Australian and then fuck up the accent? That said, I'd actually heard so much shit from critics about how bad the cameo was, I thought Tarentino was going to be a whole lot worse than he was.
Quite a long list of goofs in this movie it's not one for the historical purist...

I can easily overlook the goofs. It did good in showing (once again) how horrible life was for the slaves back then.Comment
