I always thought that this tune had an Iron Maiden-esque gallop to it. I could here Bruce Dickinson doing the chorus to this one.

I don't know about Dickenson... all I here is DLR! I probably just played this 10-12 times in a row!

Don't get me wrong. It's a great song. I think Ed beat Maiden to the punch with what would become their sound. CVH was way ahead of it's time.

Sounds more like early Scorpions to me...
By the way, Scorpions could play it now.. We Die Bald.

I'd agree. The rhythm is more obviously metallic than a lot of CVH.....

I always thought this song was called "We Die Young". I suppose since it's a demo, there might not be any way to know for sure.

Too bad their lawyers took the track down. There are still plenty of demo tracks up. Too bad they don't just leave it. Where's the harm? It's not as though this will see a real release.
The fact that people take the time to post these up, and the comments that follow each should speak volumes to VH, Inc.
I guess the operative word there is 'should'.

Perhaps it's going to be re-tooled on ADKOT II and they want to hide the fact from as many douche bags as possible that think they can't do that with their own tunes.

I was really hoping that this was going to be one of the ones they worked up for ADKOT. I was a little miffed when I got to the end of the disc and it wasn't there.

What I love about this song is that minor, edgy feel that I think later came to define 80's LA metal. As always, VH was ahead of it's time.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
