It wouldn't be surprising to see another clown car primary scenario from the GOP in 2016.
What the GOP need to guard against is reading too much into a potential windfall for 2014 far right GOP candidates; should the 2014 elections mirror the results of 2010, any 2016 GOP Prez candidates will want to avoid pandering to the far right for the primaries, because it's not gonna be beneficial when trying to appeal to the general electorate. Santorum is just too far to the right, and he's not gonna be able to have an 'etch-a-sketch' moment between now and 2016 - the general electorate aren't that dumb.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
